So I've had a speed booster. It's awesome. I also have three lenses for it: 28mm 2.8, 50mm 1.7, and an 85mm 2.8. I just sold my 50mm f/1.4.
Alright, so I have an issue with mounting my lenses to the speed booster (which is basically attached to my G6).
My 28mm mounts like normal. It's tight, works like a charm, no problems.
My 85mm is somewhat loose. I don't need to press the lens release to take it off. It's tightly on and feels comfortable, I just make sure to be gentle when pulling focus, etc.
My 50mm is super loose. Turning the focus ring has the potential of taking the lens off the body. The weird thing is that other adapters and caps work fine with it, making me think it's the speed booster. Before, I had a 50mm 1.4 that mounted perfectly like the 28mm. Just sucks that from my initial tests, my f/1.7 blows it out of the water, but can't stay on. Maybe I had a bad copy...
Anyway, any explanation for this? Any way I can tighten or adjust my speed booster to your knowledge?
