Hey, Debo I just moved here to Chicago and I am looking for fellow DVX users.
 
I live here in the 'go (south side). I would be more than happy to collaborate with you guys.
 
i'm in chicago too and might be interested also.

anyone got script ideas? i've not done much in the horror department but am always looking to get more into the DVX film making process.

let me know if this goes down.

I'm glad to see that there DVX'ers in Chicago. I too reside in the Chi. I'm the special effects guru! ( of underground REALLY REEALLY CHEAP B indie movies ):violent5:

I was thinking about entering this one if time allows it.

I love doing scary skits just to see how much I can creep the hell out of people.:eek: so I think this ones right up my alley. (plus i'm still pissed I didn't bother to enter last year.
 
Can't commit to horrorfest, but it seems like a Chicago based dvxuser group might be in order...

As I said before, I haven't done much with horror, but if someone has an idea I'd take a crack at a script, or would collaborate.

I'm from Chicago as well. I'm out in LA right now but I'm coming back to Chicago mid August to start shooting some shorts. I'd be down for working together on some shoots as well. I've got an HVX w/FCP setup.

I have a script that was provided by EJ Pennypacker (aka Daniel) who has written some past DVXuser Fest scripts.

We have been talking and I am ready to begin working on it and at this point am open to people in the area who want to work in it with me.

I'll be directing it and can shoot and edit, but if there are others who want to be involved in either of those capacities, as well as acting, producing, lights, sound SFX etc. please contact me.

This should be a fun time.

Jarred you totally need to make a Chicago Bootcamp for the DVX/HVX! I have only had my camera for about a year now and would love to particapate in one! :)
