Looking to rent M 4/3 lens in downtown Chicago area

[RyanMaderic]

Hello,

I will be filming a wedding on Friday November 2nd on my Panasonic GH2. Im interested in any M 4/3 lens' other than the kit lens (14-42, 14-45, 14-140). Im looking for fast primes or zooms, hyperprimes, nikon lens with adapters or other setups, just let me know what you can offer! Willing to pay depending on the lens available. I have looked into the local rental houses, but there is a lack of M 4/3 lens. Thanks you!

Ryan

Might want to check out http://www.lensrentals.com/
They rent 4/3 and m4/3, and I've had good experience renting there - recently rented the 12-35 zoom and liked it so much I bought it from them.

Thanks for the reply, I looked there before and the added cost of shipping is just a bit more than I wanted to pay since I will be presenting the video as a gift.

I used to get gear at Helix. Don't know if they rent m43 stuff, but it's worth a call. They're just west of downtown.

Helix pretty much doesn't have anything to do with Panasonic. Canon and Nikon only.

I've been looking for the same thing for a while without much success. I'll be watching this thread to see if something turns up.

Just wanted to update with some information I found. http://www.magnanimous.biz/#/tab/lenses-and-mounts carries only 2 kit lenses for micro 4/3 but they also have adapters for Canon and Nikon glass. I think that their day rates are at a really good price too. Af100 package for $150 a day!
