Anybody willing to rent out their audio equipment in LA?
Hey, this is kind of a Kill 2 birds with 1 stone post. First I need to know what I need. Second I need to know if anybody here (in Los Angeles) is willing to rent it out to me.
I'm shooting something on a regular camcorder (with no XLR audio input) but I would still like to record good sound. So what I think I need is a separate audio recording device. From what I understand, these devices record directly into a hard drive? Whatever it is, it has to be something I can easily transfer over to my PC computer.
Next I either need two wireless mics, or one mic and boom pole. If anyone can either set me straight on exactly what I'm looking for, and then for anyone who would like to rent out this equipment, please PM me. Thanks. I'm shooting on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 22-23.
Best,
Chris
