Looking to invest in a Steadicam / Glidecam rig

Is there a cheap rig I can get for a Canon T2i ? I've done some of my own digging but it seems like they all go for about 300+ bucks? Is there anything cheaper than that? Maybe I'm reaching here but is there anything that goes for about a $100? or is that unrealistic?

I'm also willing to try DIY if there are any good recommendations? I've found a few myself but I'd like to get some input so I can look at it objectively and choose what's best?

Thanks

DIY might be your only option if you're looking for something under $100. There are some simple ones that will be relatively inexpesive but don't appear to be very high quality. They all seem to have a little problem with the camera rolling or floating on you. This could be an operator problem, but it looks like it might be a problem of the design.

Here's one from cheesycam based off already existing parts.

I personally built a steadicam from http://www.dvcamerarigs.com/ book "Killer Camera Rigs That You Can Build".
That one was pretty legit. It was built to fly a canon XHA1 so it's pretty robust and it might be overkill for a T2i. I don't recall how much it cost to build but if I had to guess it would probably come in at around $100.
