Last weekend, we had a mishap on set, and our HVX fell while on a Steadicam. The camera was ok, but the lcd view screen cracker. I need to get it replaced now. I'm pretty handy, do you think this is something I can just order from panasonic and fix myself?
I've tried calling Abel to get an estimate, but every time I call they tell me they'll have it to me by tomorrow. Today when I called, the woman who works in the repair department is on vacation now for a week. Calls to Panasonic Support doesn't seem to go much better. If anyone has any experience or suggestions for what I should do, it'd be most appreciated. Thanks.
