I purchased this Igus slider set up and love it

http://www.amazon.com/DryLin®-Linear-Motion-System-Sliders/dp/B003XECN2S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1318997920&sr=8-1

BUT I am starting to do some weddings and want to get slider shots, but that entire rail on my tripod is pretty big and cumbersome and I would never haul it around a wedding attached to my tripod, but those slow slider shot will make the footage look so good! I was wanting to just buy the same rail I have in like a 1 1/2 - 2 foot section or just cut down a larger one so it can be hauled around without getting in the way. The problem is I don't exactly know how to order just the rail. Anyone have the part number of that rail i can order direct from IGUS? Need to get this ordered ASAP as I have a gig on the 29th. Thanks!

This kind of thing is bad dizzy, you know. So you know

I have one and it's rock steady. Actually this is because the broader version of the rail - which is advisable for cameras like the AG-AF - is kind of heavy. This is about my only complain - giving that the Igus is so low-cost.

I always carry a 1000mm and 700mm length of rail (16-60mm) for my AF100 rig. Give igus a call & order the length you need.
I keep a few 700mm (27.5") piece around and have built them as short as 500mm (19.5")...and as long as 6'.
