The 5dmkII is an extremely popular camera, and even 2nd hand ones tend to fetch a high price.
If you're on a budget, why not aim for one of the other cameras in the Canon line? As long as you buy EF lenses (Not EF-S) you'll be able to upgrade later on with very little hassle.
