looking to buy dvx100a

hi, i'm new to this forum and i'm looking to buy a dvx100a. i'm debating on buying a used dvx off ebay from electronixmax (understanding what buying from ebay entails) or buying a 100b new from buydig. the problem with buydig is that they won't ship to canada and i'd have to worry about customs and taxes. plus its about $3000 can.

i know buydig is safer. but its a hassle for me and more expensive.
if i can get a used 100a and its going to arrive and work then i'll take it.

any advice on what to do? thanks.
 
Generally for me, I would rather buy any electronic device new rather than used by another person. That said, Buydig isn't authorized, so have you considered other alternatives (like B&H or another reputable dealer) that can ship low cost cameras to Canada without buying used from Ebay?
