Anyone point me where I might pickup a reasonably priced wide angle for my 100A?
B & H video has one for 350$ new but its listed as being used with DVX100- any difference in the mount?

much appreciated

By chance you know which lens not to buy? I remember using a dvx100A with a wide angle from century optics and it looks the same as the one listed at B&H video for 350$ new 279$ used but Im not sure. Guess I could call- then again if theres a decent wide angle out there thats less money I'd go for it.

Opteka is quite cheap compare to Century. However, you'll be surprise with the quality of this lens.... It's great for outdoor shooting (IMO!).

The bad is you cant zoom too much while this lens attached to your DVX cause it will unable to focus.

Hello, i just joined today and have a almost brand new wide angle lens i could sell. It is like new only used about 5 times it is a Crystal Vision (Limited Edition) 0.5xAF Wide angle lens 58mm the model number 2058-WB comes with all lens covers has a felt lined wooden storage box, pouch for lens and a outer box to place the wooden box in. This link is a pic. with out the extras I have http://www.newworldvideodirect.com/productdetail.asp?ProductID=2568 If you have any questions email me at kevin@nitroart.com or in the thread.

not to kill your sale but there is no way a 58mm wide angle is going to look ok on a dvx. you will have sooo much vignetting.

Hey take a look maybe at the B&H or any of your fav sites and look for a wide angle thats made by CAVISION. I have one myself,I havent used it much lately since acquiring the 7D but it will fit right on your DVX with no problem.I think the model # is PWA06x72,and it def is below $300.00 mines has worked out nicely for me.

I have a Red Eye 0.7X mini Wide Angle adapter for sale, with original box & leather pouch. Used only a couple of times before I switched to a new camera.

The benefit of the Red Eye is size & weight -- it's light as a feather and comes with a nice leather carry pouch with belt loop.

Cost me $400 new.

$325?
