Well I've been discussing about this model and another from Azden (which I own) and I'd say the Azden clearly wins. Here's the link to the thread, scroll to the last post, there's a couple of other member that posted links and tests they've made using the ATR-3350. I find the Azden to have more noise rejection than the Audio-Tecnica and it's actually cheaper on B&H. and here's a short video I've done using the Azden EX503 lavalier plugged directly in the Canon T2i's jack. Magic Lantern is installed of course, and analog gain was set to 20db:

Of course, the test I've done has been recorded in a quiet room, only the AC and me walking could have been heard. But I'm willing to do a proper test, as requested in the other thread, like in a shopping mall/restaurant.
