Looking for some constructivism feedback on my last video

This is a BMX video but I have tried to make something "different" than the typical bmx video. i cannot say it was filmed/edited in a cinematographic POV but i'd say i tried to. Not hard, but i took my inspiration from some movies / MV more than from some BMX/skateboarding videos. At least for the colouring.

Overall i'm pretty pleased about the final result but i feel like i missed a lot of aspects to raise my videos to the next level. All feedback/advices/critics more than welcome. Thanks

Really nice, man.

My only crit would be that quite a few shots lasted too long after the trick was landed.

Thanks ! Yes obviously i could have shorten a few shots...
I think i also should have use some lighting on the intro because my shots with the riders showing himself during the first seconds are not homogeneous at all and pretty bad. Lighting is an aspect i need to highly consider next time.

Im not a "sports shooter" by any means so take this how you want.

Theres some nice shots in there for sure and I think you should cut the edit back to play only to the great stuff you have.

The opening sequence doesnt do a lot for me, just looks a bit like a guy standing in different places. Id start with maybe your last shot and cut that opening really fast when the music really kicks in.

Overall Id just say cut to back to show the great stuff and cut down your head and tails on each shot - make it more powerful.

I like it. I agree with Noel though on the opening. I dont think the opening is bad, but I would cut the frames way down to where it almost gives a strobe feect with the guy at different locations. Maybe like 10 frames per location. Also when the music dropes off, Drop your video with it, like slow down the footage to match the music drop, It will give a bigger effect, almost surreal feeling. your on your way man, just keep it up. most of the shots were beautiful!!!
