Looking for short fluorescent spare tubes

Hello, I want to make a source of light and mount that on the camera lens like a ringlight. Are the fluorescent inside of a foto lightbox viewer a good option?. They are calibrated at 5000K and not cost so much. Primary y prefer fluorescent over the LED becouse of better CRI. I dont have money for Kino flo so there is a whay to make one but with beter color tone that LED? Above i made a smal test with a old lightbox wiever widout the difuzer but they have very low output. Thanks!

Wondering what you mean by "good enough"? Looks like you have tested it already - did you like what you got?

The main thing I see is the reflections in her glasses are really distracting - I'd look into the circular tube ideas, plenty of DIY on the web regarding those. It is a popular "look" for closeups.
