Hey guys,
We started shooting last summer our first feature length film, Farheight High: The Sci-Fi Movie Musical. We wrapped up our principal shoot in three weeks, but we've since been shooting pickups and added scenes all fall. I'm posting to see if there are any shooters on this board interested in coming out and serving as DP on some of these shoots.
We're all recent college grads, and would prefer to work with someone around our age who is interested in coming on this film as a bit of a learning experience (as it has been f or all of us.) We have a good amount of equipment, and have been achieving good results so far. We've got an HVX200, full light kit, dolly, jib, steadicam, etc. And we'd be happy to give someone some hands on experience using this equipment. Honestly, myself and my partner having been shooting alot of it ourselves, but because we act in a lot of these scenes, it's better for us to hand off camera duties to someone dedicated to it.
Unfortunately at this time, we're all piss poor college grads trying to make our first film, so all pay is on a deferred basis. (IE, when we sell the film, everyone gets paid.) But if you're still interested in what has been for us an awesome time (and promises to be an even better premier party) shoot me an email at fleaguit@yahoo.com
Thanks, and I hope to hear from some of you.
