I’m a writer/director directing my first feature. It’s a coming-of-age story in the mold of The Graduate/When Harry Met Sally/Before Sunrise/Before Sunset. The film is SAG low-modified and we are in the process of raising money. We are going out to and shooting May 1 – May 24.
We are looking for a producer (as well as other jobs) who is okay making the film big (if we raise all the money) or small (if we raise only a little)
Synopsis: DAVID POSLEY, 28, a lost soul consumed by the memories of his one true love, quits his life to try and find her. It is on this journey where he meets TOMMI, 23, a philosophizing misfit who is everything he isn’t. The two form a sort of friendship/relationship that both know can only last until they reach their destination. Or can it?
You do not have to have prior experience as a producer, but must have had some (preferably extensive) experience in production. I’m looking for someone smart, driven, aggressive, someone who can make things happen. There is no pay as of yet. But as soon as we raise the money, there will be. I have a gameplan. I just need someone to help me execute it.
