Looking for music video shot on 5D

Hi there.

Last year someone posted a music video which I believe was shot on the 5DMKII.

It was a man at a piano, in white limbo. The lyrics from the song poured over the piano from various angles. It was an amazing video.

It anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate it. I recall the poster saying it was shot on the 5DMKII, which would be an incredible example of green screen keying.

Thanks.

Thanks Chris. I searched Vimeo already. Nothing there.

It's a very unique video. Only the musician, a piano and a white background. I believe the artist is fairly well known - though I'd not heard of him at the time. The 3D titling is what really stands out, it flows over the piano, matching reflections. An amazing job.

The main reason I'm asking is that I just took a DSLR workshop and the presenter stated categorically that the 7D and 5D were terrible for green screen work because of the 4:2:0 colour sampling. I explained that I'd seen really good keying with it, but he was pretty convincing. I just purchased a 7D myself, which I had planned to use for green screen work and was really disappointed by his comments. I was hoping to find some good examples to prove him wrong.

Of course, I good be wrong as well. I'd be interested in any fresh thoughts on the subject.

Yeah, I used to hear that ALL the time when I was shooting DV and HDV.

The truth is, it's entirely possible to get great keys with 4:2:0 sampling if you're careful. I've even gotten very good keys on DV.
