We are a group of college students based in Bala Cynwyd, PA, planning to shoot a very low budget short film this summer. Although low budget, we are a group of talented, determined, and fun individuals looking to create a professional product. This is not our first foray into filmmaking, and we can provide a film reel if you’re interested or concerned about the quality of our work.
Looking to this summer, we’re in search of another member to join our team – a dedicated, determined, location sound recordist. We can provide limited gear (Fostex FR2LE recorder, Audio-technica At897 microphone, boom pole), but if you have available gear to add (mixer, wind protection, etc), we’ll be in far better shape.
This is ideal for any college students (but also anyone else interested!) looking to gain more experience with location sound recording and have some fun. Shooting will not be on a regular schedule, and we can work with you to make our schedules work together. At this time, this is not a paid position, but we would be happy to discuss that further. If you are a professional location sound recordist, please send your best rates. In addition, we can likely provide food and compensation for any travel. If you have any interest in joining our team, please send a PM or call 610-246-3452 and we can talk about it. Thanks!
