All-

I came across a couple of shorts on this site years ago and cannot locate them, hoping someone can help.

One is a beautiful short about a grieving man who takes his deceased wife's ashes to the beach on a bicycle and dies blissfully after spreading the ashes into the sea.

The other is a short horror piece, I believe it's called "What is Fear", though not sure. It is a guy who can't sleep being menaced by a real or imaginary intruder who pulls a knife on him. He uses an editing technique for a bathroom scene where his reflection in the mirror is autonomous as he peels skin and flesh from his face.

Hopefully someone recalls one or both and can point me to them, I know it's a longshot. Thanks in advance!

Didn't expect when I clicked this it would refer to one of my older flicks (What is Fear)... I only wish it was as good as you suggested where the guy peels skin and flesh from his face, maybe best to not watch it and keep the memory of it intact :)

Excellent, thanks man! The mirror scene wasn't as visceral as I recall but overall I still think it's a cool short. Gonna check out your other work, thanks again.

Cool story. Is that pro scores I hear, haha. It's funny on this level but I hate hearing sounds that aren't modified or original. I liked it, just saying though.

Cheers

I fully understand your thoughts regarding pro scores. I don't hate hearing it per say, but if ever I watch something and I hear one of the many royalty free songs and sound effects I've used, it takes me out of the show I'm watching. It's a valid point.

Yeah, well said. It just takes me out of the story. But with a time crunch like on a lot of projects it's understandable.
