Looking for input here... Music video.........

Great work man!

The 170 is freakin' clean in daylight outdoors..it looks great. And the noise people complain here about is usually just the result of underlighting the scene. I always overlight then stop down if I have to, do provide the photosites with enough signal to render the electronic noise invisible. Cameras eat light, you gotta feed em

Contrary to alot of the guys here, I love the look you achieved in CC
It's punchy, contrasty, and in your face. I love it. And the fast shutter stuff is great too.

The shots look great in your MV. I like the flow of the edits, it works well with the smooth relaxed mood of the track. Dig the CC and crisp image.

Jay looks really good and love the contrast & saturated shots! However I think the beginning could be stronger. Nice job !

Here's my 2 cents...

Here's my 2 cents...

Video looks good. As for the pacing of the edits, you could give the raw footage to 10 different editors and get 10 different cuts. There is no right or wrong way, it's all subjective! However, just shoot more cutaways, matching action and b-roll to fill your video more. Also if you change locations on verses along with more variety in your shots, you'll be straight.

looks absolutly wonderful. I'm sure they love it. Will look great on a demo.
mad props, brother

(diimk) hes right every editor have its own way ..... great expression from the actor , looked like a movie clip, good acting ( clap clap ) but, if u took out some of the singing and have more of him at the end before put in the money back on the counter ( shots of him thinking and scared or flashes of hes familly or watever ) to me , it ended so quick ......overall i love it,great job ,very nice song

O.K.

The video is actually pretty damn good.

There is a little bit of sync issue with the lyrics in the beginning but it is actually a bad ass video.

This is the first rap video on here I am giving an A+++++.

I like this a great deal.

It is along the lines of Dead Prez and somewhat like 2-Pac in his better days.

With that said the vocals on the rhyming part need a bit smoothed out to match the velvety hook.

I am downloading the 720p and will watch it again and see what I can come up with.

The concept was very good.

Gun Play is not Play... but it seems your man kinda realizes this.

Out of curiosity why an all black cast?

I do see the grain but it's pleasing.

Not sure if that is because you have gain on or?

Also, I do see a woman who could indeed be white or whatevers... but still curious about the predominantly black cast.

Thank guys........

ESTEBEVERDE, I just used whatever we had on hand. The male actor, for the narrative part, is a friend of mine so I got him for free. The female is the artists wife (she's latino) and the kids are their children. The resturaunt workers are the owners of the shop. They know the artist and said we can shoot in there but we only had ten minutes. They were closing and wanted to go home. I just set up a 1k softbox and guided them on what I needed. Pretty stressful but simple, lol. I shot the whole thing in a day and was a one man crew. Ugh, I sometimes hate being a starving filmmaker. :)
