Hey Everyone,

I had a gig come up where a HPX500 was requested over my HVX200, because of it's low light capabilities and these "buggers" are hard to find for rental in LA. I finally found one at Pro HD Rentals in Burbank... No allifiations, just frustrated after calling about 10 places with no luck, thought i'd pass it along.

Quick question; Are there any major "operating" differences between the two camera? Besides it being a shoulder mount, i've been reading about few additional menus and the new focus assit.

Thanks,
Steve

My company has an HPX500 and we are Los Angeles based. We just wrapped up a feature with it and it is definitely available for rental to insured productions in September. We have a great package with a matt-box, follow focus, tri-pod and a 17 inch HD monitor. Let me know your exact needs and I'll offer a very competitive price with three day weeks.

I also have one available for rent with all the bells and whistles and high end lenses, NOT the stock options.

prices vary depending on package and whether I come as operator or not. from 400 a day up.
