If there were a 7" 1920x1080 LCD panel on the market, I'm pretty sure the "big guys" like Marshall, TV Logic or SmallHD would be all over it and offering a "full HD" monitor at a premium price before these second-tier guys got hold of it. So color me skeptical. Now even a decent 800x480 could be a good deal for under $200, so it might not be that big of a risk to order one, but I don't like being lied to in the spec sheet, so I'll wait and see what somebody else has to say about it first.

There is surplus evidence that electronics made in China share the same look (same copy-cat factories) lol.

Anyway this is just a monitor, maybe not an apple but certainly not a lemon, not intended for BIG BUDGETS and the newest most affordable model on the market (from whatever copy-cat Chinese factory comes from), works well, compacted with battery built in, with product costing little over $165 + PH

BTW one could always opt for a Ikan VL7 & DK Series for the same resolution 800x480 from $299 up to $449, or the next best thing the Ikan VX7 1024x600 for $1049 and so on. Let's not forget to buy the OPTIONAL EXTRA cumbersome battery adapter and possibly a battery (the more cables to play with, bigger protruding electronics on top the camera, I guess it just gives that more professional look)

$165 delivers a good all rounder HD monitor, that's all.

Good find mate, I paid £170.00 for mine and its branded as Lilliput, I'v seen it named as something else for £600..
Yes it not top spec but its cheap...
