Looking for feedback on trailer I made

Hello!

Two years ago I came here and asked for feedback on a student zombie film I made, and I got some great feedback!

Anyhoodle, I recently completed an animated sci-fi action short, and made a 30 second trailer for it. It's only my second time making a trailer for one of my shorts so I was wondering if any of you here can offer advice on how to make it better or more enticing?

The link to the trailer is here:

Some quick impressions. . .

"from the director of..." Congratulations on your award, but it's taking up 1/3 of the trailer for what movie?

Is it a movie or am I reading a book? Having dialog balloons on the page and sound is . . . confusing?

The straight vertical nature of the tank battle scene is perhaps too reminiscent of the old retro computer game I can't remember the name of.

it's awfully short . . . The story line and general treatment come across but it leaves me wondering about the consistency of the art work I'll be seeing. Is there any plot beyond "kill them all?".

Idle ruminations - thanks for posting, hope to see more.

best wishes.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and provide some valuable feedback :)
You bring up some good points that other people have also raised! Haha
Back into the editing suite I go...
