Good, bad, I would love to hear your thoughts on how to improve. Thank you so very much.

I'm not quite sure what I just watched, but it was definitely entertaining. You seem to have a pretty strong voice, which is important. The only negative thing I really have to say is that it does definitely have the feeling of really cool student projects. This is partly due to the lighting, and partly to the heavy use of young actors. You obviously have the ideas and the visual flair, now go out there and focus hard on a project that you can make as professional as possible.

Thanks. I too feel it feels like a student project. I'm trying to get away from that by using the right people instead of friends and neighbors. In TN I used what I had available to me right then. Do you think things should be taken out maybe? I am trying to get a reel that will get me work. Thanks for the feedback.

Obviously depends on the type of project you want. The sexual content might turn some people off from hiring you, but there's no way to predict that so it's probably not worth caring about. The thing that is really going to hold you back is that you definitely have a niche style in there, which might not conducive to commercials, or at least doesn't show your ability to do commercials. What kind of work are you looking for?

Not sure I'd hire you for a bris but the reel shows real talent. I'd tweak it depending on the client, just like a CV. If that's not possible, I'd make PG and R versions.

I second that you might want to make two versions, PG and R, for different clients. Good job. The only thing that stuck out that I didn't really care for is the footage of the car chasing the girl and ends up with her against the wall. The faux film look made the footage look bland to me. You might want to go the other way, saturate the colors up a little with crushed blacks. You seem to like '70's exploitation films so maybe going with more color and contrast on those shoots could bring out that kind of low budget '70's crime film look. I like the reel. It definitely has energy. Good job.

Muchas gracias for your comments. I just cut straight from past finished projects so I didn't do any changes to the looks or have a lot of ability to do so. Some of them were made to look like old worn out footage. I learned over time to keep things in a state where I can change them for things like this but not everything is editable as far as the look without degrading further. I really thank you for your feedback!
