Hello everyone,
My name is Chris and I am looking for the chance to do something I really love. I gradutated from a technical school in Madison, WI in 2002 and still cannot find one person to give me a shot. I, ultimately, want to work on major motion pictures in postproduction, but for right now I know I will probably have to start somewhere at the bottom. I am happy to do that though. I want to do whatever it takes to get where I want to be.
Here's a little more background information about me.
I attended Madison Media Institute for two years earning diplomas in Recording and Music Technology and Video Production. A large part of my education dealt strictly with digital video and non-linear editing systems in conjunction with software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. Most of the cameras I have used have been a digital format such as Mini DV. I have experimented with different lighting equipment on many different types of sets, ranging from short independent films to interviews.
Working with audio opened me up to use a lot more equipment and software. I worked on a Pro Tools system with a Mackie HUI for audio postproduction, mastering, and sound editing. Sound design projects allowed me to work with digital audio and MIDI information simultaneously through small workstations and synthesizers.
I have a good range of equipment that I have worked with but I also understand that there is much to be discovered. My deep interest to work in the audio/video field has pushed me beyond the classroom to learn about other areas in the media family. I have started my own website to experience how audio-visual media works best on the Internet. I'm also currently working on a few short films in my spare time.
I currently live in Wisconsin but am willing to relocate anywhere, even internationally, to start working in this field. Here is a link to my online rèsumè:

Here's is my website, which I have created from scratch myself, to host some little projects as well as other things. I can provide a DVD as well, that shows some of what's on the website, if anyone would like that instead.
The website link is: http://www.reflexive-cinematics.com
All my contact info is there between the website and the rèsumè.
If anyone out there is in need of a hard worker, or knows of someone else looking for someone, pass my info along.

I check both of those email addresses regularly.
Thank you very much.
