looking for DOF chart for DVX100

[IndyUser500]

Hi I've looked around and found quite a few DOF charts however I haven't been able to find one for a 1/3 CCD sensor like the DVX has.

So I'm basically looking for a hyperfocal distance chart for a 1/3 3 CCD sensor camera with data for a lens that's 4.5mm~45mm.

Could anyone share this?

Barry previously posted a CoC for DVX of .011. You can plug that into a DoF calculator like this one (look towards the bottom of the CoC pulldown menu):

Thanks I saved the complete web page to my hard drive and it works!

Amazing.

So the CoC for the DVX is .011 , good to know, thanks again.

well after searching the forum (right) I've only found 1 mention of Barry mentioning the CoC for the DVX and that was .002mm (probably lower) to be strict if planning to blow it up to film.

Do you happen to have the link to that post you mention? Maybe .011mm would be good for televisions?

.011 was on another forum, 2pop. http://www.2-popforums.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-62518.html

I don't think that's right, though. Based on cameras with similar sensor sizes, it's probably more like .004.
