Looking for a sound effect

[Jay Rodriguez]

It's for my boxing film. I need a camera flash sound effect like that old heavy sound from the old cameras.

Anyone care to send me a clip or point me to a site?

Thanks guys

hey, if you can't find any, I can check our sound FX library at school and see what I can find.....

Don't have too many sound effects on this computer, but this site www.findsounds.com sometimes has some decent stuff.

www.sounddogs.com might have what you are looking for

[Jay Rodriguez]

ok, thanks guys... See if you can find something.

As for the links, I'm heading there right now..

I have a site that trumps all those! http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/index.php

Free Sound Project is a great resource. High quality recordings of just about anything you need. Their search function needs some improvement. All the recordings are free to use, their originating authors must be cited in the credits though. (A small price to pay for awesome free sounds.)

[Brandon Rice]

That's awesome! Thanks for the link, I'm bookmarking the site now.

That one sounds a little high pitched for most slr's, though most any camera sound effect in the movies or t.v. sounds like this.

[mehnkle]

Do Karl151k or coffee's links work for anyone else because they arent for me

[Paul Coleman]

I think Freesound is down.

[Jay Rodriguez]

I tried the sound in the film and it doesn't feel right. oh well, I'll hold onto it though.
