Only way I know of making a filmmaker roll is to push him/her down a hill.

I assume you mean the descriptions of people's jobs.
I was reading a AFI Desk Reference book the other day and it had excellent and simple to understand job descriptions for film makers costs about 30 bucks.

I'm sure coffee is referring to the different roles/responsibilities found in the film industry. I don't know of a good comprehensive website but check out the following books:

Job Descriptions for Film, Video, and CGI by Bill Hines, SOC- 5th Edition

The Complete Film Production Handbook 3rd Edition. By Eve Light Honthaner (roles/responsibilities for director, producer, UPM, and assistant director only but in great detail)

[Jay Rodriguez]

yeah i was talking about roles/responsibilities found in the film industry

you guys are still nut, you know that? LOL I haven't been around much but not much has changed... that's why I keep coming around... hehe

get the book called Gaffers, Grips, and Bestboys. it's very simplistic too, and it's not that expensive
