i have a used rode ntg-1 which you might be interested in.

the rode ntg-1 and ntg-2 are the exact same mics.

the difference is the ntg-2 can accept a battery and the ntg-1 needs phantom power.

i chose the ntg-1 because i knew i would always chose phantom power over battery because it is nominally cleaner/more efficient.
