I'm looking for a producer for a low-budget feature to be shot on the HVX late this summer (august/september probably) in L.A. I know this should probably be in the job section but I'm just trying to get a feel for interest. No serious decisions need to be made yet.

DAVID POSLEY, 28, is a lost soul living a monotonous uninspired life. To make matters worse, his memories are consumed by a girl, ANNA, who left him seven years ago. Fed up, David decides to do what any irrational man in his position would do: He quits his job, gets in his car and starts on a cross-country trek to find her. Along the way he meets TOMMI, a young philosophizing misfit whose idea of a job is selling umbrellas in Los Angeles and who seems to have everything figured out, including David. When she insists on joining his quest, he reluctantly accepts, and a new kind of journey begins, a journey in which David must not only figure out who he wants, but what he wants.

“Best Friends Etc.” explores that difficult time in your life when you don’t know what you’re doing or where you’re headed.
