Looking for a plasma flat screen compatible w/hvx

I'm looking at plasma flat screens, 50 - 52, for regular home use. But I'd also like it to be the right choice with my HVX. I was looking at the Panasonic TH-42PZ700U, but read this review:

"When we checked the set's resolution we found that it fully resolved every line of the 1080i test pattern from our Sencore HDTV signal generator, and handled 1080p/60 and signals as well (it could not display 1080p/24 from the Sencore, and the Samsung BD-P1200 would not allow us to select its 1080p/24 mode, so we assume the Panasonic cannot handle 1080p/24--not a big loss in our book anyway)."

Help me out here, as I haven't edited any HVX footage yet, what does that mean to an HVX owner? if I wanted to hook the camera straight up to the screen, does that mean it won't be giving me the best resolution possible? When I do get around to editing and finishing (on some kind of dvd), will it matter then?

If this is not the screen to handle this, anyone have suggestions for ones that would be a good choice?

Thanks for any advice on this. It's a whole new world to me.

Buy a plasma flat screen for your living room, not your HVX. The signal that's directly output from the HVX is part of the HDTV specification and will work with ANY tv, assuming things are configured correctly.
The camera itself can only output a 24p signal to card or disc.

I've got a Sony Bravia 42" 1080p and the pictures from the HVX component out or my Samsung BD-P1200 look like ice cream.

Thanks all. Okay, I will not concern myself with the HVX then. David, that Elite is terrific only it's twice as much as the Panasonic.

"The PRO-110FD full HD 1080p HDTV brings brilliant, crystal clear lifelike imaging to your home theater. Feel the rush of deep rich blacks and radiant color for life like interaction with nearly any signal source (480i/480p/720p/1080i and TRUE 1080p 24fps signals). Take hold of true entertainment with the PRO-110FD."

What does it mean to have true 1080p 24 fps signals in a practical sense? Can you tell the difference? How is watching regular non-hd broadcast tv?
