looking for a part...

I'm building a camera crane, trying to find a part to connect sections.

Anybody know what its called or where I can find it?

Bore should be 1/2 inch or so big.

I tried Grainger and Mcmaster-carr but no luck so far. It would help if I knew what it was called.

Would appreciate any hints at all.

Thanks for the tip! All the ones I have found are designed for bearings, but thats ok I can just run a bolt through it instead as planned... However, they are a bit slim. I don't think they would be able to support the weight without bending the metal they would be mounted to.

I may have to just weld tube pipe to the sections instead and run a bolt through that. I was trying to avoid this because im not confident enough of my welding skills. Will have to find someone to do it for me.

This looks like a flag bracket to me. There are a bunch of different designs at this link. Seems like the "side-mount", "engine block" or any "vertical mount" design would work:
