This popped in my head later that night after you posted iLav. It may be a bit on the corny side but I like it.

Oleg, any feeling on which ideas or direction you are liking? There have been quite a few clever ones put up so far.

Cheers

i liked quit allot of stuff , but if i would say wht di i liked peopele will go to this direction , illd like keep you all with open mind , by the way all the new buys who ask question are welcome 2 ( dont you want free lavalier?):-) and not only these who have over 200 posts and already have half dozent :-)

How 'bout:
meshuggeLAV (as in crazy GOOD, or crazy VALUE), mLAV for short.

Looking forward to its release, Oleg.

....Microbat

Bats are the most famous examples for echolocation among animals. All microbats use echolocation. Microbat calls (help·info) range in frequency from 14,000 to 100,000 hertz, well beyond the range of the human ear (typical human hearing range is considered to be from 20Hz to 20000 Hz). The emitted vocalizations form a broad beam of sound that is used to probe the environment. See the main article on animal echolocation for details.

I once has a bat land on my chest at night. I looked down and there it was... knashing its teeth at me! That was a lavalier I'll remember the rest of my life!

GELO - Oleg spelled backwards. Pronounced like Jello. There is always room for it. It sounds Italian to me. "I bought the G2 but switched out the stock lav for a Gelo"

I really like the feel of the description oleg gives of his occupation... WaveCatcher. And think it would be a super name for a microphone. of course this poses the problem that, if this name is chosen, oleg would win the mic since he thought of it! :-)
