I'm trying to find a lightweight synthetic vest for on-location shooting. I've been looking at The Travel Vest from ScotteVest, but it seems like it will be too hot, especially in hot-ish weather.
I would like something that I could put a 55-250mm in a pocket, maybe a tablet, or a small camera, but lightweight enough that it's not like a tactical military vest. I.e., I really want it to disappear as much as possible.
I'm also looking for something that won't be too hot if I'm outside in the sun shooting in hot weather (90-100 degrees), since I might be outside filming this summer. I know that this it's unrealistic to expect that a vest would not add heat, but I want something that's not designed for heating. If at all possible, I'd like it to be synthetic because that would be the least hot. Does anyone have some good suggestions?
