looking for a lightweight tripod dolly

I am looking looking for a lightweight tripod dolly that is compact enough to travel with it. Any ideas besides manfrotto?

We used a 3-leg Losmandy Spider Dolly today with rubber hose for track. I was really quite impressed I must say, so long as you're running on flat ground, it's a really fast setup and nice smooth moves.

nononono, I´m not looking for a dolly, but for a spreader with wheels for the tripod so you can move fast between set ups indoors.

This is sort of off topic, but it's cool to see somebody from here post that. I don't use it, nor have I ever used it, but I support Jason in his products. I'm assuming your roots are with skateboarding-filmmaking by looking at your Vimeo channel. There's not a chance you're a user on Skate Perception, is there? You may know me, as I'm a filming moderator on that forum.

macgregor, take a closer look at the Eazy Dolly. I think that is what you're looking for when you say a 'spreader' with wheels.

This is designed for the libec th950 tripod but I see no reason why it shouldn't work with most other tripods. No proprietary mounts or anything like that...Correct me if I'm wrong...I mean, it's just a adjustable latch which you place the legs (assuming you remove the feet if you have a tripod with those big, long feet) into and close it securely.

I actually use this with my th950, fantastic combo in my opinion. Very light weight and very fluid. Though you might want to contact Libec to confirm. I haven't actually tried it with any other tripod than the 950..But in theory based on how it latches, I see no problems with other tripods. This is all assuming your tripod uses those conventional round, all terrain feet with the retractable spike., and not the sachtler style long shoes.

unfortunately i do not own this dolly, but at the time the question was asked, the eazydolly was the first dolly that came up in my mind... The design looks pretty stable IMO...
