I've been looking into buying some older manual Olympus OM mount lenses and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good solid adapter?

I have the Olympus MF-2 and it's decent, if a bit on the expensive side. Reasonably nice tight fit with little to no play depending on the age and condition of the OM lens that it's being used with.
Thanks. I guess I should have been more clear, I'm looking for a dumb mount without the electronics inside. Thanks tho.
That's one of them. OM lenses shouldn't have any electronics as far as I know.
Olympus also makes an MFF-2 (for 4/3rds to MFT) but it's not the same. The product numbers are way too similar though. I made a similar mistake in a thread several months ago!
Here's the one I use: http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-MF-2-Micro-Thirds-Adapter/dp/B002CGSYN0
Yeah I figured it out. The adapter I got was cheap. Not only does it not lock on, the iris also doesn't work on the lens. I need a different adapter![]()
Hi Brian - that overpriced Olympus MF-2 I purchased definitely locks down. There are probably a lot of tiny tolerance issues at work. For example, my Zuiko OM lenses fit much better (no play) than some old 3rd party OM lenses I have (some, but very minor play.)
I also have a cheap Fotodiox OM to EOS adapter and there's more play in that adapter than with the genuine article from Olympus.
After this thread I thought I would order a cheap OM to m4/3 adapter off ebay (actually bought two) to compare quality - also thinking if they were "good enough" I can leave them on my infrequently used OM lenses. When they arrive I'll chime back in. Maybe with some hunting around we can find a cheap one that works - having our cake and eating it too!
