I shoot alot of sports (football, basketball, etc) where i'm on the sidelines, and I was wondering if anybody had any good camera supports that would work for this kinda of application. I'd like something thats portable and lightweight, but still somewhat adjustable. I use the focus ring and zoom ring both when i'm shooting so I usually have both hands on the camera, so some kind of body pod system or something would be sweet. I'd like to spend less than 200 bucks if possible. I have a monopod but I dont' really like shooting with them personally (just my prefrerence)

I have the MultiRig Pro, and I love it. You may want to go with the pod-based system they offer, if you want to keep both hands on the camera.

Their products are really well made, and relatively inexpensive. Good luck!

We use one of these:

That last one seemed very neat. Anybody try a homebrew diy of that nature with the belt-pod also?
I'll have to search.
