Looking for a Bogen 501 head

Looking for a Bogen 501 fluid head, with or without tripod legs

You will be sorry. I have a 501 and only use it to hold my teleprompter. I'm not selling it, but if you're doing videographer where you have to move, this is not a good head. Spend more and get a true fluid head.

I have the 501HDV head, and it seems to work just fine. That is unless there is a big difference between the older 501 and the newer HDV ones?

The older ones were better, less plastic. But yeah it works OK, but the difference between this and a decent fluid head is night and day.

I too have a 501 I would recommend you save some pennies and get something better.
