Looking for 35mm adapter

whats a tight budget?

have you considered rails and follow focus in that budget?
an adapter (even a brevis) is practically useless without them...
 
I'd say rails are a necessity, but a follow focus is not. They are handy, but you can very will manage without them.
 
yes, its a matter of workflow i suppose. but here is what i learned with the brevis:

i bought it because it was the ONLY adapter that didnt REQUIRE a rails setup. but i discovered on my first use - even with a smooth-moving, small 50mm lens that the torque put on the focus ring to change focus pulled the framing ever so slightly - but very noticeably askew.

i went out the next week and bought a rails setup and a brevis to rails mount and all was well.

BTW, didnt want to hijack your thread glideman. just wanted you to have the full picture
