Long/Tele adapter for EX1

[gillatineny]

Is there any magnifier/ lens adapter available for the ex1? I have been lookin a round and still am unable to seem to find a retailer or company other than centur optics that makes adapters for the ex-1. I film alot of surfing, a long lens is a neccisity...any suggestions?

But arkay linked to a Century 1.6x adapter... didn't gillatineny ask if there were OTHER teleconverters in the market than CenturyOptics?

Does that work with the EX1? It mentions "HDV" cameras but specifically talks about the Canon's, plus it's a 72mm thread, and 62mm with a step down ring; the EX1 is 77mm.

Yep. Works fine with http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/387525-REG/Cokin_CR7772_77_72mm_Step_Down_Ring_Lens.html

I already had one for the Z1 so I just picked up a stepdown ring and good to go. I can also use the 72mm 16x9 WA but because of the ring, it vignettes so you have to zoom in a tad which kind of defeats the purpose.
