Hey guys, I’d like to introduce myself, cuz I've never done so. I’m a 20-year old filmmaker from a town near Nashville, Tennessee, and I started writing in the 3rd grade to entertain myself, as a condition I was born with, facial dysplasia, made it tough for me to socialize with people my own age and out of this, I had completed over 20 extensive film scripts, stories, and full-fledged ideas by the time I graduated high school. Because of my family situation, I did not get a sliver of a chance to study filmmaking techniques and camera work until after I graduated, but I feel like I excel in writing most of all, as my stories are all extremely emotionally close to me, and I feel like I have no trouble imagining the cinematic and musical aspects of my films naturally, with my extensive film and literature knowledge helping in that aspect. I simply wouldn’t replay my stories in my head for entertainment each and every day if they weren’t good! Right now, I’m working with the Canon T2i, and while I feel there are many problematic aspects with the camera's quality and menu options, it has taught me a lot as an overpriced tool and I feel like my goal in camerawork is to shoot the majority of my films on Red; a camera company that I have extensively supported for revolutionizing digital cinema and the price range associated with it. I'm also hoping for a very cheap camera in the near future that truly fixes some of the bug's associated with the T2i at the moment, I probably would prefer that even over the Red - the Red systems still seem like they would be incredibly over-extensive and complex for my technological terms!

As my own interests, my favorite film genre is horror; I feel as though horror, when done correctly, combines the most exciting action and entertainment, exceptional story plots, extremely artistic and unique camerawork, creative set designs, effecting musical scores, and great ‘classic’ techniques that hold true to older cinema days more than any other genre. Some of my favorite horror films of this decade are Hostel, The Strangers, House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, The Poughkeepsie Tapes, The Village and Signs, to name a few. I also enjoy dark avant-garde and shocking drama films, such as films by Harmony Korine, Todd Solondz, and Gregg Araki. With these types of films, as well as horror, many of the production styles ring true to me as well; I like styles that reflect a very natural, gritty tone and I hope to find a production style for my own works that truly dances on the line of a style that enables me to feel freedom on set as well as when I watch the film, while still conveying cinema professionalism and dedication to a cinematic look. Other film genres I enjoy are classic animation, most notably films created under Disney and Studio Ghibli, and I enjoy very classically inspired slapstick comedies, such as Dumb & Dumber, Norbit, Dinner For Schmucks, and many of Tyler Perry’s plays and films.

With my own films, however, the stories I’ve written vary anywhere from extremely low budget, avant-garde works quite like Harmony Korine’s Julien Donkey-Boy or The Blair Witch Project, to moderate budget films that reflect beautiful locations, extensive camerawork, and journey inspired events, to stylistic horror films that grab audiences and create exciting experiences for people in the theaters, and finally, quite a few of my stories and scripts are also animations or multiple-part works, inspired by mixtures of animation styles or fantasy. Beyond focusing extremely on creating very cinematic stories no matter the genre, I also take pride in being able to have naturally written works in so many varied and unique genres, in being able to feel the need to have a sense of perfectionism about my ideas, and also in being able to compose and write the musical scores for my films, imagining the editing and acting process as well. I have also created many of my stories with the intention of playing main roles in them or lending my voice to them, and I have a very negative feeling toward letting anyone else produce, direct, write, score, or control my project in any way, although having a general filmmaking expert and mentor to help with the entire process would be always helpful and fun in my opinion, especially in areas such as lighting design, technology tips, and the technical process of editing; areas I do lack in.

Lastly, I have also always been interested in directing music videos, I have a very extensive musical taste and even more varied than my film interests, my music interests vary anywhere from pop, to death metal, to classical, to progressive and experimental rock, to oldies and classics. To almost every song I listen to and enjoy, I automatically picture scenes, characters, camera movements, or events happening, and depending on the song, I also imagine choreographies, band shots, and even more precise and extensive ideas. I personally would like to revolutionize the way music singles and music videos are treated in the media field; I would like to direct and produce videos for songs that many artists, at the time, did not get to release or promote, possibly being able to do so again for a greatest hits album or re-release. Along with composing my own scores for my films, I also write songs for my own musical project geared for the radio and mainstream music world, where I write the lyrics, sing, and compose the entire melodies and themes, and along with help from the people who also play the next mentioned instruments, I also compose the specific guitar, piano, keyboard, and drum arrangements. I guess it should be no surprise that I plan on directing my own music videos for my musical project as well! As for my music career, I have about 15 songs that I have written over the past 5 years reflecting different personal times (as I do write ballad influenced tracks), and I feel like my musical style is just as experimental as my films; mainstream influenced but with many tones of unpredictability and artistic value.

Welp, I guess that is what would be my “professional biography”, I hope that I sound as though I have my dreams well-thought out, it has always been my goal to connect all forms of art and entertainment together and truly be a hardworking craftsman at many talents, much like musical artists-turned-filmmakers such as Marilyn Manson or Rob Zombie, or even like the regarded Steven Wilson, who’s an extremely diverse multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, sound engineer, and musical producer. It’s also very important to me to have a very well known, influential, and iconic base in these careers, because I also feel like I have a future in my extremely diverse and radical political ideas and philosophy ideas, and it has been a huge goal of mine to realistically earn extreme amounts of money purely to fund each individual artistic and political project entirely myself and to give back to people in need, as I have had extreme crimes committed against me in my life (at the moment, I have a net worth of over half a million dollars in legal funds that have not yet touched my fingers) and because of the fact I was born with a handicap that allows me to realize that people in this country need help more than any 1st world country in the world. I personally respect Tyler Perry as a businessman very much, he has produced, written, directed, acting in, and marketed all of his films entirely on his own and he has treated his career in very extensive and well thought-out steps, and I look to him, as well as people like M. Night or Eli Roth, as examples of the standard I hope to achieve. So I hope I succeed as well!
