[WTB] Lomo lenses

As pleasing as these lenses can sometimes be, they are frequently a very bad investment. The way they are built makes them very difficult to repair and many lens specialists don't even want to deal with them. The quality control on these lenses is very hit and miss, I bought some in the past, and it seems that sometimes they are pieced together with parts that are hodge podge. If you find a very good set and take care of them you should be good for a while. But should you ever need to make a repair it may end up costing you dearly.

Agreed, I finally put together a good set (which only took about 3 years of buying and trading!) and will likely hold them until I can afford a set of Cooke's. That being said if you need Lomos serviced I've had good luck with Bernie @ s16 inc.
