Logitech Wireless Mouse...mind of its own

Recently I have been noticing a problem with my Logitech wireless mouse having a mind of its own! Its like the pointer wants to go where IT wants to go instead of where I am directing it to go. I thought it was my mouse pad because I just got a new one but switched it out with another one I had and the problem still exists.

Anything I should try to help resolve this? The mouse has rechargeable batteries in it and it sits on the charger when not in use. Its making my editing work a bit bothersome here lately as the mouse pointer wants to go to other parts of my screen than where I want it to go!

My non-logitech, non-wireless does the same thing. So does my wife's. The damn pointer scoots all over the place lately. I think it might be from one of the zillion Windows updates.

MY wireless lasted about 3 hours. Not because of the batteries...just because I got tired of of having to hold my tongue just right to get it to work.

The keyboard was even worse. It chose letters at random as I typed.

Batteries? HA! Maybe someone hacked the wireless signal and is using it for their own purposes? Seems like the most logical explanation to me....

i just chucked my bluetooth keyboard for the same reason.. who the hell needs a wireless keyboard.

My mouse does that too sometimes.. but its when its on the brink of loosing signal. try to move the station closer. If you have a wood desk, use some double sided tape and mount that sucker right under the desk on the bottom side of the mouse.

I'm still tethered with a Logitec Track Ball that you roll with your thumb. I love it. I have never seen one like it that is wireless. If I found one, I'm sure I'd try it out. With external HDs and power already hanging out of my laptop, I wouldn't mind getting rid of the mouse cable. But I gotta have that track ball. :)

yeah blaine i used a trackball for the last 5 years until about 3 months ago.. when logitech said they might discontinue the whole trackball thing. Its so much better on the wrists (trackball)

The problem with all this wireless stuff is it doesn't work well around electronics like COMPUTERS AND MONITORS.

And don't you just love when your cell phone rings and causes an annoying buzz in your TV or other electronics?

Buzzing? Time for a phone upgrade...
