Log & Transfer Error/Fail w/ AVCHD

Hi all, I have been using the HMC150 and AVCHD files in FCP v6.0.5 for months now, flawlessly. Using the Log & Transfer Window to transcode to ProRes has worked great, until today. For an unknown reason, when logging clip, about an 1/8th in it stops, i get the dreadfull volly ball of death on my mouse curser for a min, then under "status" appears and error. Transcode failed. Error unknown.

Has anyone else run into this problem and has a troubleshooting solution? Any info bit helps as my project deadline is fastly approaching!! Thanks!!

It has happened to me a couple of times after I've queued a lot of clips (even if they are on pause) and I start scrubbing through one of the clips I'm logging. Not sure why, but it only seems to happen when I get 50-60 clips in. It's a real ***** because you lose logging info! I've started doing smaller batches, and less scrubbing!

Maybe the file got corrupt I'd use Toast to transcode it. I transcode 300+ clips AIC & Pro-Res in FCP 6.0.5 never had an issue (knock on wood) I know this is not the ideal solution but when working on a dealine, Band-Aid solutions are the only viable options to meet those deadlines. I don't scrub through the clips as I'm logging.
