With thanks to another poster on another board, wanted to advise all here that the Sony Canada site has posted Log and Transfer 1.0 for FCP 6.0.3. This will let you ingest XDCAM clips via the Log and Transfer function rather than launching the separate Sony app through the Import-> XDCAM menu.
Tested and works fine. Note that you must have FCP 6.0.3
