I'm trying to transfer clips off a P2 on an HPX-170. The only response I'm getting is a red stop sign under status. When you move the mouse over it, it says Error no data. Any ideas why these clips are not recognized?

simple: in log and transfer window, open options "round gear" button and untick "remmove advanced pulldown... ".

Went into the log/transfer options unclicked removed advanced pulldown window like you said. Still having same problem. Not sure if this matters but I am running on a new Imac and was no 400 firewire port only 800 in the computer so I had to buy a 800 to 400 firewire cable. Would this cause that problem? Checked all other options. I used my friends Mac book pro and had no problems. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to solve this problem.
