Log and Transfer HPX 300??

Hey all. Pulling my hair out here... I have an HPX 300 that I attempted to hook up to a firewire in order to do a log and transfer directly into FCP7 from the camera.

I've been doing it with the HPX 170, no problem - I switch it to thumbnail mode, then hold down on the button until it initiates the firewire link.

How do I do that with the HPX 300? I haven't a clue! Or can I even? Thanks.

Thanks. I've gave USB a try at wits end last night(well 3am) and it worked despite not having a clue what I was doing. Very glad I'm learning this during test shoots for an own project rather than editing for a client.
