Log and Capture naming files (brain fade) question

Away from all my manuals . . . so forgive the idiot question.

Logging and capturing hours of clips for a doc. As we're logging and capturing we're giving names to the clips in the project - but on the hard drive they are actually being stored to they are just being sequentially named Untitled1 Untitled2 etc

Can somebody help my tired brain - how can I name the clip and the file at the same time?

I must be in a different version - I'm FCP5. Can you point me to a section or heading? Have searched high and low in Log and Capture section of my help menu with no results. Any quick tips or pointers would be most appreciated
