Lodging a complaint

[Alex H.]

why do i have an overwhelming urge to head to six flags now? :2vrolijk_08:

Because advertising works. Even (especially?) with annoying music.

That's funny. Last night I was digging through my music library trying to decide on music for a new demo and for a brief moment considered a ukulele song! Haha
It is funny to see the trends come and go over the last 20+ years I've been in this

Ukulele Weeps by Jake Shimabukuro

I saw Jake about 3 months ago (accompanied by an electric bassist)- mind bogglingly good!

Everything from Ukulele Weeps, to Bohemian Rhapsody (which reminds me- how do you put the title in the link like Dingo did?)

Then he left any pretense of the happy, child-like uke sound behind and started playing wailing, processed electric Hendrix-uke, capturing rhythm loops on delay then playing lead over it- just incredible!

We now return you to your previously scheduled ukulele thread...

how do you put the title in the link like Dingo did?

Usw the "link" icon in the tool-bar above the message edit window, and then edit the text in the 2nd portion of the resulting HTML text that vBulletin generates.

Tiny tim single handedly killed the Ukelele market for 30 years with one song.

For the Conspiracy Theorists... that was the point...

For those who watched "Laugh-in"... it was a turning point in variety show acts...
