Greetings,
I am looking to get some foundational hands on "pro" instruction in the art of location sound - mixing / booming. Anyone know if there is such a workshop available? I am self taught - Oh the horror! - and I have done low/no budget shorts but I would like to advance my knowledge, experience base, and get a feel for the equipment that can be and is used on shoots and a solid understanding of how to and when to employ them on future films that I am involved. I am an experiential learner so hands on is the best way for me to learn. I have BG's Sound DVD which has provided me with a start but I would like to move up from there. Sage advice is always welcome!
Thanks, in advance!
