They are the X series.

Audio–Technica Wireless transmitter ATW-T100X and Audio–Technica Wireless receiver ATW-R101X

656.125-668.500 MHz ("x" systems)

I have two of the same wireless, this is a good deal. I bought the AT-1800 to replace them, the 1800 sucks in comparison, so I just keep using the 100s. Much noisier and cheaper all plastic construction. If I had the money, I would jump on these, the 100s are classics.

why don't you like the 1800 Dan? I have one and have actually only used it once and it really wasn't too bad from what i could tell but i am by far not an audio guy haha.

Sorry Ashokan, we are diverging from your thread, but hopefully this feedback will convince prospective buyers that your 100s are a great deal.

Honestly, if you A/B compare the 1800 with the 100s, the 1800 is much noisier. I would say it is barely usable in my book but I am an audio guy and I am picky about sound. I have not had a lot of time to play with the 1800, only one evening before leaving for a Europe trip, but no matter how I tweaked and channel scanned the 1800 system, it sounded surprisingly noisy.

I ended up taking my 100 systems and they worked great. The only thing I dislike about 100s is that they have a voracious appetite for 9 volts and 9 volts are expensive, even at Costco. The 1800 uses AAs which are cheaper and easier to obtain. But that is not a deal breaker and you can always use Lithiums or rechargeables if you are serious about the 100s. I could use two more of the 100s and I am tempted to pick these up but money is tight right now. My 100s are staying with me, I may dump the 1800 if I can't get it to sound cleaner. I even tried upgrading the lav element to the AT899, still noisy although quieter than the stock 1800 lav.

Yeah, for 250 I might be able to take other one... how much did you buy them for? I heard 6 years ago they were being sold discounted at $675.

I bought the wireless new about 5 years ago for a few small docs I was shooting. They have never been rented out. So they are in good shape with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use.

I paid around 6-700 per set as I recall from B&H. I just don't have any use for them anymore.

All sound gear is sold. Thank you for your interest.

BTW-The AT 835B worked well as a boomed mike. Very directional. a bit too long for an on-camera mic though.
